A small multi-stemmed tree blooming in early spring with white flower clusters, followed by edible, purplish blue fruit later in the season. Birds love the berries. Can grow to be 20'-25' tall when fully mature.
Summer, fruit large, dark red. Flesh greenish-yellow, juicy. Flavor mild, pleasant for eating. A good dessert and cooking apple. An annual bearer, a natural semi-dwarf growing to about 7'-10' tall. Very hardy variety.
All nursery stock is northern grown and hardy for our cold winters. Because they are potted, or balled & burlaped, they can be planted successfully in spring through fall.
