A compact, slow growing narrow tree. The foliage has a textured bunchy appearance. Summer foliage color is bright green, holding its color in winter. The small stature makes it an excellent low hedge or specimen.
This graceful upright tree has drooping branches. It responds very well to shearing and makes an excellent hedge or screen, which can be kept at any desired height. Needles are small, green on top and silver on the underside. It prefers light to heavy shade and protection from winter winds.
Delicate, soft green, graceful foliage unsurpassed by any other hardy conifer. When young, it is pyramidal in habit, but as it grows older, it becomes very open and picturesque. An excellent specimen tree.
All nursery stock is northern grown and hardy for our cold winters. Because they are potted, or balled & burlaped, they can be planted successfully in spring through fall.
